Since 2015, The Village of Abounding Love has been a lifeline for North Carolina’s most vulnerable. Rooted in Charlotte, our mission reaches far beyond city limits—touching the lives of seniors who deserve dignity and care and guiding young people as they step out of foster care and into adulthood. We walk alongside families and communities with compassion, hope, and an unwavering belief that love can transform lives.

The Start of Our Mission

Welcome to The Village of Abounding Love, where compassion meets action. Since 2015, we have been dedicated to serving North Carolina’s underserved population, especially seniors in need of care and youth transitioning out of foster care. Born from a deep commitment to community outreach and corporate responsibility, our Charlotte-based nonprofit was founded to meet urgent needs with dignity, empathy, and unwavering support. Today, our mission continues to grow, reaching families and communities across the state with programs that uplift, empower, and transform lives.

Foundation Built Through Community Recognition

Through years of community engagement and professional collaboration, we recognized critical gaps in local support systems. This realization led to the founding of our nonprofit, dedicated to meeting the needs of youth transitioning out of foster care, Housing assistance for Seniors, Veterans and disabled persons, and families facing food insecurity. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to building trust-based relationships that foster dignity, resilience, and lasting impact.
